How many hours are required for teacher licensure?
Teacher licensure requires students to complete 32-33 hours. Additional hours may be required in order to meet concentration area requirements.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Teacher licensure courses can be completed in four semesters. Additional course requirements within the concentration may extend the time requirement.

Yes, this program leads to teacher licensure. This program is approved by the Ohio Department of Education.
How often do classes meet?
Classes meet two-three times per week during the school year. During your initial advising session we will try to determine your immediate availability and structure courses during the first two semesters to address your needs. .
What are application requirements?
Applicants need to fill out an application form and return it with a $25 application fee (waived for Bluffton graduates). Applicants must also submit responses to three essay questions and provide us with official transcripts of your bachelor degree.
